Update: The DVLA website has now been updated and 71 registrations may now be purchased. We’ve already seen plates listed on the market from re-sellers, so you better act fast to get the plate you want! You can also view 71 registration plates for sale here on our website too.
The DVLA have today released millions of new 71 series registrations for viewing on the DVLA registrations website.
These are brand new registrations from the DVLA, which will all be available to buy at 10:00am on Wednesday 5th May 2021.
This means you have two weeks to scour the website and find any new 71 registrations you wish to purchase before they’re released on general sale.
Prices for these new registrations start at £399, which includes VAT and the £80 Assignment fee.
As you’re browsing the website, you may see some registrations highlighted with a green ‘clock’ icon. These plates are only available to buy until 19th June, after which they will be taken off general sale – so this is your only chance to buy such registrations.
Remember, as these are all Current format number plates, they can only be assigned to vehicles registered after September 2021. So if you have a new vehicle on order for delivery after that date, this is the ideal opportunity to furnish your new car with a great new number plate.
