This number was originally assigned to an Austin A55 in Blue on 11th November 1958 and was purchased with this vehicle by my father a number of decades ago.It is currently not allocated to a vehicle but is on retention.Please be aware though that the time it takes to make the transfer has increased considerably this year due to industrial action by staff at DVLA and so many self-isolating. I sold a cherished number earlier this year and it took 7 weeks for the documents to be transfered to the new owner. It does say that paperwork can take up to 10 weeks!So when the auction concludes, I will need your name and address to send as the ‘Nominee’ on the retention document and then send this to DVLA, wait for it’s return and then this will be forwarded to you and you will need to assign it to a vehicle when confirming you are now the new owner of the cherished number.
